ROCK HILL, S.C. – There are several returning players that Georgia fans are excited about this coming season in Athens, but D’Andre Swift will rank high on everyone’s list going into the 2019 campaign.

Swift talked with 247Sports this past weekend while working the Top Gun/FBU camp in South Carolina.

The former Army All-American running back says he is focused on team goals heading into his junior season.

“Really just having a big winning season.n I am a team guy before anything,” Swift said.”The team comes before me, so if we win everything else will take care of itself, a winning, healthy season.”

RBU is a term used a lot when describing Georgia and he says watching guys like Todd Gurley, Sony Michel, and Nick Chubb has him ready to carry the torch this season for the Bulldogs.

“I am excited and that is a great group of guys in front of me,” he said. ”Just being able to have a chance to live up to the standard those guys set is just a blessing, I think I am ready to live up to that standard.”

Swift thinks spending some time his freshman year with Chubb and Michel was invaluable to him and his future.
“They mean everything, I contribute a lot of my success to them,” he said.”Coming in as a freshman and learning from those type of guys, I could not ask for a better way to come into a university, we still talk to this day, so that relationship with them is great.”
